I am
receiving an error when accessing Library Data Manager Help
by pressing F1 or clicking the Help button.
Library DataManager's help file, LDMHelp.chm, is placed in the C:\KRC Software\LibDM
directory upon installation. The file must remain in this directory. If the
file is moved, the custom help feature will no longer be available.
If help is still not functioning properly, download and install the following
Windows utility: hhupd.exe.
When trying to access a feature
from the Main Menu, I am getting an error that says "..cannot
find file: LibDM_be.mdb". What should I do?
LibDM_be.mdb is the file that contains
all of your data. LibDM.mdb is the file that is opened when
you access Library Data Manager. LibDM.mdb must be linked
to LibDM_be.mdb for the program to function properly. If you are receiving
this error, you must "relink" the two files. To do this, select Database
Utilities from the Main Menu, select Relink Tables. Click the Browse button
to locate the LibDM_be.mdb file. Once the file is located, click Open. The
path to LibDM_be.mdb will appear in the File Location box. Click Refresh Links
to link the two files.
When I
try to Relink to LibDM_be.mdb, I receive the following error, "The
Microsoft Jet Database Engine cannot open the file ..LibDM_be.mdb.
It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need
permission to read it's data."
Locate the file, LibDM_be.mdb on
your network or PC. Click once on the file to select. Right-click
and select Properties from the pop-up menu. Uncheck the Read-Only
box and click OK. You should now be able to link to the file.
